New Student Application Procedure
Students applying to the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree program can use the main University on-line application website at: http://uaonline.alaska.edu/ (select "Apply for Admission").
That is all there is to it! After your application is reviewed, you will receive a letter stating your acceptance into the program or the status of your application.
Non-Declared or Change-of-Major Student Application Procedure
If you are changing from a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree to the BSE degree, then complete a "Change-of Major" form. This releases you from your previous major or designation and releases your student file so that it can be forwarded to the UAA School of Engineering. The form is submitted to UAA Enrollment Services (in the University Center). Note: The "Change-of-Major" form can be used only for changing degrees on the same level i.e. Associate to Associate or Bachelor to Bachelor. Otherwise the "New Student" procedure needs to be used.
If you are changing from an Associate of Arts (AA) to the BSE degree, then follow the procedure provided above for "New Student".
Transfer Student Application Procedure
Same procedure as "New Student" (includes UAF or UAS transfers to UAA as well as from out-of-state schools).
